Make a little room.
Set the box on a clean, dry, stable surface. Read any guidance included with your kit. If protective gear is provided, put it on before handling anything inside.
Take it one step at a time.

Remove the paper insert.Set it aside before you lift the grinder set from the box.

Lift the grinder set straight up.Hold the box steady and keep the grinders seated in their acrylic holder.

Remove any protective packaging carefully.If there is a small plastic tab at the base of the holder, remove and discard it. If protective wrap is present, remove it slowly.

Check for loose spice.Use a wipe or clean cloth to remove any loose spice from the outside of the grinders and nearby surfaces. Avoid touching your face or eyes, then wash your hands.
Check the grinder.
On standard grinders, movement in transit can loosen the push-button cap. Hold the grinder body, gently pull the spring down, then twist the cap clockwise until snug. Beast XL grinders do not need this step.

Keep the grinders in their acrylic holder before and after use. Grind away from warm food and rising steam. Moisture can cause spice to clump.
