Ingredients, Allergens & Spice Safety

Helpful product-label information for the SpiceQuest products in your hands.

Spice safety

Handle spice thoughtfully.

When filling a grinder or cleaning loose spice, use gloves, keep spice away from your eyes, and wash your hands afterward. Keep spice products out of reach of children.

HotDots

Allergies & ingredient sensitivities.

HotDots contain food colors that can cause reactions in some sensitive people:

  • Watermelon: Red 3 and Red 40.
  • Green Apple: Yellow 5 (tartrazine).
  • Mango: Red 40 and Yellow 5 (tartrazine).

Yellow 5 can cause allergic-type reactions in some people. All three flavors also contain corn syrup, modified corn starch, and sodium benzoate. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity to any of these ingredients, avoid the affected flavor.
