Read the warning card included with your package. If protective gear came with your order, use it. If not, use your own face mask and gloves before opening ultra-hot grinders or refill tubes. Airborne spice is no joke!
Protective gear is included with selected ultra-hot products and Matchbook kits, not every order. We recommend gloves and careful handling whenever you handle loose spice or fill a grinder, whatever the heat level.

Put on protection before opening ultra-hot spice containers.Use a face mask and gloves before unwrapping an ultra-hot grinder or opening an ultra-hot refill tube. For Matchbook kits, this step applies when filling the empty grinders, not when opening the kit.

Clean away loose spice.Use a wipe or clean cloth to remove loose spice from the outside of grinders and nearby surfaces. Avoid touching your face or eyes, then wash your hands.

Return grinders to their acrylic holder.Use the holder before and after use to help keep spice off nearby surfaces.
