Screaming Eagle is the aerial successor to Crying Lion: a limited-edition superhot blend built with the same level of detail, but a different kind of energy. Where Crying Lion was emotional, heavy, and roaring from the ground, Screaming Eagle is sharper, faster, and more vertical. It rises. It strikes. It leaves a trail.

This blend brings together ten extraordinary peppers, each chosen for a specific role in the story. Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion, Purple Death, and Tom’s Giant Peach form the lift of the blend: bright, ghostly, golden, and strange. Zing adds the lightning crack. Red Hydra and Red Primotalii bring the talon edge, pushing the blend into a darker, more aggressive red-fruited direction.

Beneath that first strike, Chocolate Primotalii and Death Spiral give Screaming Eagle its shadow: a deeper, more dangerous backbone that keeps the heat from feeling thin or one-dimensional. Dragon’s Breath and 7-Pot Primo sharpen the finish, giving the blend its final scream: clean, piercing, and unmistakably superhot.

Screaming Eagle is not simply trying to outmuscle Crying Lion. It is designed to answer it. The heat is still serious, but the experience is different: quicker off the ground, brighter in the opening, more electric through the middle, and then darker as it settles in. This is a blend for people who want fire with motion, menace, and mythology.

Screaming Eagle has a calculated weighted heat of roughly 875,000 SHU. It does not hit with the same heavy, crushing roar as Crying Lion. Instead, it comes in fast, sharp, and high, with a bright opening strike that gives way to a deeper, darker superhot burn.

Tasting Notes

• Development: Bright and electric at first, with a quick lift from peach, ghost, and scorpion-style heat, followed by a darker superhot wave.
• Duration: Long and persistent, but more agile than Crying Lion. It climbs quickly, peaks cleanly, and lingers with a sharp talon-like finish.
• Location: Starts high on the tongue and front palate, then spreads through the mouth and settles into the throat.
• Taste: Golden fruit, peachy brightness, red superhot depth, chocolate-darker undertones, and a clean, piercing finish.
