The Zing pepper is an extremely hot Capsicum chinense hybrid, often described as having a "brutal" heat comparable to or exceeding the Carolina Reaper, with estimated Scoville Heat Units (SHU) over 1.5 million. Created in Michigan, these gnarly, red, 2-3 inch pods feature bumpy skin and, in some cases, stubby tails.
