The Purple Death is an extremely hot superhot chili pepper (800,000–1,500,000+ SHU) developed in Italy as a cross between the 7 Pot Primo and Purple Ghost pepper. It features dark foliage, purple flowers, and peppers that ripen from purple to red, offering a fruity, citrusy flavor. These ornamental, high-yielding plants grow 3–5 feet tall.
